Fight Back America's Global
Justice Tour is educating and training on college campuses
to empower students to get involved with the fight for human
rights at home and abroad. We are engaged in that struggle around
the world, holding politicians, special interests, and corporations
accountable so that bottom line is not the sole focus for success.
The Global Justice Tour:
Visited over 40 college campuses and reached
thousands of students during the spring and fall of 2004
Offered resources and direction to launch
corporate campaigns on a half-dozen campuses
At Oberlin College , OH we were involved
in getting a student placed on a the Central Labor Council
as a voting member (Oberlin students had already organized
to get Coca-Cola off their campus)
At Northland College , WI the student
organizers have scheduled a training with the AMP to begin
a strategic campaign against Wal-Mart
Inspired students to start associate
member chapters on campus
Students can get directly involved with
the labor movement
The AMP gives direct access to the international,
non-governmental organizations and other institutions
The AMP reached thousands of students
around the country
